I used it a bit... similar to regular depron but a pinch heavier, maybe a pinch stiffer. I don't think it's worth the extra cost but if it's easily available, it works.

Tom or anyone else,

I am looking at doing a mold and layup...... How are they compared to bagged tails? I am sure they look better but are they worth the trouble over a bagged skin type? In one thread there was a video mentioned that Tom did..... Anyone have a link to that? Just trying to "see" the process and understand what is going on...... Barry

Since you have a cnc machine, it probably makes sense for you. Us without must get creative with making the cores. It can be done but its probably about the same, if not more time consuming than bagging tails. Molded tails tend to have cleaner leading edges which is of some benefit.
