Thanks man!

What's the weight difference between the carboline and standard weight airframes on average AUW?

John, yep, these are Zone V2.
Differences might be part of wing area and perhaps how we spread out the foils along the wing.
Try the CG at 72mm, and camber as 0/2/5 in speed/cruise/float. They're working really well for me right now, I have yet to try 8mm as tried with success by Dave and a couple others.

Carboline wings are ~103-105grams, and the Standard wings are ~119-122 grams, so all else being equal the Carboline planes *should* end up around 16~18 grams lighter, maybe a tad more because there's less weight behind the CG too.

Not too sure about the 'how neat' comment, drmgcm. I'm not the best builder out there.

Soar!

You can get really nice transparent servo arm covers at

http://www.mmglidertech.com/accessories.php

I use MM-6 for top drive, and MM-4-1 for bottom drive.

You can go to walmart or kmart and grab a press-on nail kit for $3.97 that has hundreds of super light plastic finger nails that you can sand down to a perfect bubble... I just lay a flat plate over the servo, tape it on, then use the nail to cover the gap and servo arm... you just dot some foam safe CA on the skin and put the nail in place... works really well and you can use different nail sizes for different applications.. most of the kits actually come with a small bottle of CA too!

I'm glad I'm "behind" you in time.

When I wake up tomorrow, you have been working many hours.

Don't open to early.

Good night.
