Congratulations Dave for placing 3rd at the 2-day SASS contest with his Neos!
There were 2 on scene last weekend - Dave B. and Lev. M. both flying Neos', a little bird tells me there's another half dozen or so Neos' heading to the Pacific Northwest over the next little bit!

I am still a noob at this but seeing the other gliders out there if I were to buy a new one it would be a NEOS. I am using a NEOS fuselage along with Killercando but we make our own wings and tails.

Todd, Thanks for the vote of confidence! I hope you are enjoying the fuselage to go with your wings, Lee just got my last broken fuse earlier this week!

I finally finished up my new wing for my light Neos, phew!

Don't have time to repair the one I hit the tree nicely so I'm selling it cheap to a friend, win-win (ok, lose for the wing)!

OK, wow! My first contest with the Neos and I placed!! It was quite the battle both days for the top three and it really went down to the last couple of flights. I have not seen the scores yet but it was close. The Neos was very good in the very changing conditions and no ballast was used, in fact I don't even have a ballast set up for it. I see that I need to concentrate on reading the plane better as I flew through some lift and did not take advantage of it But as I get more experience with the Neos I'm sure the reads will come in line. Over all I'm very happy with it. My launch practice paid off with nice high launches all weekend. I had very consistent height on every throw and positive comments from the other pilots on the launch heights I was getting. I let Tim fly it after the contest he seemed to like it. He is a power full launcher, hope he does not get one The Zone V2 is a great airfoil but you have to pay attention to it and use the camber wisley....love it. Got some early morning practice in before the contest in foggy conditions. I used my 8MM camber setting in the super light air and the Neos would just hang, climb and disappear in the fog! Can't wait for the next contest

Haven't done the weight thing yet but I will.need wing/tail screws ? Just running a 4c pack and tazamo servo's Thomas supplies. And JR 285 digital for ELE. Custom peg from Alex in NZ. The other Swindell is on my Stobel/ rudderless and it definatley launches higher with it over the standard one. It will be great to compare the 2 of them side by side...

Launch high. Fly low.
Nice scheme...
but it looks like the throwing blade is way outside the 1.5M span.
Well, it only might become an issue if you competed or something.

Looks sharp Kane, what did you use to color it?

Again I hope one of the two packages of bolts I sent shows up soon so you can get it in the air. The second package should be in Australia already with tracking showing it left hk on the 8th...
