Waymon, yeah! I think the new method is much better than before, the bond between the foam and hinge is ridiculously strong. I think we should do that for all wings from now on (kevlar and carbon)

FalconLx, I'm amped too! Looks like it's going to be a late night for me to try to get it 90% done, and finish the servo and switchjack install tomorrow night.
I'm going to have to say the Neos is a much more 'modern' design with better launch and ranging capabilities. You do need to work camber a bit more than the TS, but the resulting (huge) speed envelope is well worth the slightly extra work I think. Either one you go with should be a winner though!

Got a bit done last night:
-Cut servo bays and wire tunnel
-Joined wings
-did the hardpoint for the HT
-notched VT
-cut elevator horn slot in fuse, and wrapped with kevlar tow
-cut vertical slot in fuse, and wrapped with kevlar tow

Thomas, have you decided on a price yet on the Dbox carbon and full carbon kits? I've really been considering the standard Neos but I'm waiting to see what the price difference is. Awsome work!

We decided Dbox was too much work with no performance increase since the full carbon version is even lighter and stiffer than that and the kevlar versions.
Full carbon is $569. Thanks for the compliments! Means a lot to us

I would try to attend the 2nd half of the event on 27th, and challenge 50+ meters launch

From an outside perspective but someone who has a lot of time on Zone v2 planes and has also flown a Topsky Super, I would go for the Neos. However, it depends on your flying style. If you prefer floaty airplanes, then the Topsky is great. If you are looking to be competitive, it'd be hard to beat a full carbon Neos, which should be capable of out-performing the TS in launch height and raw range capabilities.

Thomas, great looking plane but I think she needs some Vlad carbon tails to complete the package!

Thanks Sam, new order of vlad carbon going in tomorrow or the day after I'm hoping to get a 100gram light condition wing out of that carbon too!!

James, your new full carbon wing is going to ship out next week, you're gonna have fun with it
