Good plane for a new glider pilot.

I've been quite successful at flying both the Aerobird Challenger and Slow Stick electric park flyers and I want to add an electric glider to my hangar.

I have a hitec flash5sx tx and I'm not looking to spend a bundle and I don't want to spend a ton of time building either, I don't want to do any covering...picky picky I know.

Any suggestions?

what are you looking for? As far as planes go the Nike, Hook, are relatively easy builds and easy fliers, and you can grow with the plane. If you are looking for a floater try the Filip 600 with the built up wing. You have lots of choices...

The Andromeda from ArtHobby is a VERY nice plane for only $145.00. I have read alot of good reports about this plane. Alot higher quality than any other pod & boom (or and other glider) in its price range. ....R....

About the Accent, there many reports about it being very underpowered in its stock form. Any glider that you find, that you mite like to have, first use the "search" button at the top of the zone and learn anything that you can (good or bad) before you send off your hard earned money for it

I think the Ascent is one of the best planes for the money. (ARF, easy to build, motor included all for less than $70) But it needs a simple prop change to fly well. This thread gives the info you will need. Much of the advice applies to other planes too:

For a glider with ailerons I like North East Sailplane's Omega 1.5 and 2.0 M planes. You can later upgrade to Brushless and turn these into near Hotliners.
