Does the S800 come standard with landing gear? The DJIUSA website shows it with & without.

Is it just me, or does it seem like this announcement was made with about 10% of the necessary information?

It will double the c rate of a single battery if two are connect in parallel so 25C or 35C 6S can be used, saving a lot of money , two batteries from DJI will cost you a brand new NEX5

Are you guys changing something in the whole WKM FW algorithm etc. PIDs whatever you want to call it, withe release of the S800, or are we getting some additional variables to tune WKM for lower Kv/bigger prop combos ?

Thanks

Boris
Hi Boris, it a matter of matching props and motors, and yes the right gains.

Hi Sidney,

thanks for the answer. So you would recommend us if we dont want to switch to the S800 right away, since we already have 5 grand plus setups to copy the motor prop setup you guys have on the S800 ?

S6 voltage to get the RPM back etc ?

Thanks

Boris

I would say considering this the price is not bad at all.
I would be interesting to know how heavy that 15000 mAh 6s Lipo is that DJI recommends. This could be an interesting option little more pricey.

Considering that a 4s 11000 mAh ways 820 g http://www.maxamps.com/Lipo-11000-148-Pack.htm

and the 6s 11000 mAh ways 1.2 kg http://www.maxamps.com/Lipo-11000-222-Pack.htm

if there is a significant weight difference tot he DJI 6s, thus flight times would be similar i would prefer taking up less weight all together and bringing down the current

If the setup is running 6s and you go down to 4s you would have to go up in prop size. Kinda defeats the purpose of this whole setup. As Sidney just mentioned its a matter of the right prop, motor combination but he forgot to mention current also.
You would lose alot of lift going down to 4s and I am guessing it would wobble.

Well thats the reason why i also linked the 6s lipo whos weight reatio is based on the same cells like the 4s which is astonishing for 820g 11000 mAh

sorry got the mAh wrong before

Edit ( as a comparison a 4s 6000 mAh nano weighs 623g )

We really need some picturs of the final product, in some pictures it seems that the top plate is in carbon and others its like the 450 and 550 flamewheels!
