Also, camera setup workflow before flight?

Thanks and sorry for the slightly off topic questions.
Camera setup:

-format card

-set frame rate and shutter speed for desired look.

-set ISO and f-stop (auto iris is bad) for proper exposure and to achieve largest DOF possible

- white balance

- set focus to and estimated distance camera will be from subject matter (IMO autofocus is amateur)

Post:

-use log and transfer tool to import footage.

-edit footage

-use minor post stab if necessary

-color correct footage

-Export for vimeo

I hope this helps. I could go into more detail but it would require writing a complete tutorial. vimeo, dvinfo.net, creative cow and linda are great sources for learning how to set up cameras properly and for editing.

mine is on the gimbal, on the main top plate, near the screws that attach the gimbal to the s800.

You have your receiver on their as well? Do you have to keep unplugging it when disassembling it from top plate?

Nope I have to unplug main power lead to zenmuse and can-bus going to the zenmuse and wkm LED can-bus and than i can separate S800 from the landing gear/zenmuse.

RX and Zenmuse stay together and no unplugging that why I put the RX on the zenmuse !

This how my DW Skyjib build is looking right now.....

But at this point it is too heavy too use for commercial use in Denmark..and still need the NEX7 with CZ 24mm....

So maybe I have to build another MR frame for my Z15 .... anyone interested.... ???

But man I love it right now.....

where should I buy my Z15 ? (in US or in Europe) and who have it in stock?

I also wonder if I should buy the zenmuse + s800.
Or maybe I can use my AVroto+WKM and build another HEX frame and save some money?

I feel that buying the zenmuse is a big investment (for a hobby user) so I need to be sure I get it all right

thanx for all help

welcome to the club (of non-S800 Z15-flyers) mine has 4,3kg AUW, I am not sure if it is possible to build a multirotor with retracts (and Z15) with AUW below 5kg.

best regards

I only nede to get under 7 Kg.

I have put it ip for sale now and going to try a cinestar6 and some ideas.

The thing about the skyjib is the wight of the engine mounts and the retracts.

You says that your retracts that you made for the s800 only have a wight of 300 gram. Where did you find the retracts for it. ?

I used this one:

http://shop.lindinger.at/product_inf...ducts_id=32253

the 300gr are mainly due to the legs I made of 12mm (0,5mm) CFK Tubes, but this might be too weak for 7kg.

best regards Ferdinand

But you need to have some cables that go from your Rx to your WKM MC, or is that also on the landing gear.

What values are people changing as far as COG when flying with a zenmuse, I have balanced it on x and y axis, but assume that the z axis must have shifted down quite a few cm, what values have you changed?
Thanks
