Spent a few days in Muncie IRCHA 2012 ....

I don't have the video taken from S-800. The XCell 700 is using Naza-H GPS.

DJI Naza-H First appearance at IRCHA 2012 (2 min 45 sec)

After upgrading the ESC in Switzerland Im missing light in one red LED, but the engine runs ok. I'm not sure if it's a good idea to fly with my S800, but could not wait longer.

Hi oylore.
Beautiful location. It's a shame the 16 mm is so soft.

Thank you!

I agree with what you write about 16mm. Looking for an alternative, but are unsure of what to choose. I want a lens with a fixed focal length. Do you have any experiences and recommendations?

Ferdinand, you've had the most experience now with lenses, what are you recommending of the ones you've tried?

up to the fact that you cannot use the autofocus, the Sigma is my favorite,

but judge yourself:

16mm pancake: (with autofocus, aperture fixed to f4.5)
Z15 Videoblog 2012-07-29: Eggenburg (4 min 25 sec)

18-55 kit lens: (with autofocus, aperture fixed to f8.0)
Z15 Videoblog 2012-08-05: Laa (4 min 22 sec)

19mm sigma: (with manual focus, aperture fixed to f10.0)
Z15 Videoblog 2012-08-15 - 02: Sigma 19 MF test (3 min 23 sec)

Please let me add, that I am for sure not an expert in lenses.

best regards

The Sigma 19mm is indeed excellent optically, compact and lightweight.

I was your post. Thanks for your hardwork.

I might pick it up for manual focus anyways because the 16mm is way too soft

Hi

Could someone, please, explain me what is and how works the HDMI-Av module? It would be compatible with a Teradek Cube? seems that I'll have to disconnect this to plug the cube...

Thanks for your comments!

I do some photo shoot with the 16mm pancake lens, so you say I can do better video and photos if I use another lens ?

(I`m no expert on lenses either)

Also, there are two new pancake lenses coming out pretty soon. One is a 17-50, don't know what the other is. But I'm waiting to buy a new lens until I see how good the new pancakes are.

the kit 18-55mm is a sharper lens and better performer in most use cases. The 16mm is really too soft and it is especially bad on the edges

Gives a little insight as to some options we might see. That 11-18 would be stellar.
