It's a hexacopter created by dji innovations, it is a prototype hexa with a 3 axis, gyro stabilized camera gimbal, it produces this type of raw footage right out of the camera with zero post stabilization. The full package of the hexa, transmitter, batteries, camera gimbal and travel case will be available to buy in the next couple of months for around $11,000...More good stuff to coming from Avean Media, DJI, and us!

You can clearly see a heli in parts of this video so I am guessing the whole video was not shot with a multi rotor(WKM).

Customers that have pre ordered the Zen15 are getting emails from DJI asking them what lense they will use on the Nex5 camera.
Apparently for the gimbal to work properly you need to use a small prime lense. You can use either the soft 16mm Sony lense or the expensive Zeis 24mm.
The use of the Kit zoom lense is not recommended.

Just some info DJI choose to ommit for the pre order.

So what is the actual weight of the z15 with Nex5n/16mm lens/HDMI?

perhaps the gimbal was attached to a heli rather than a multi for the high shots?

I think the pilot of the multi was standing on the roof of one of the high raises..
Thats what I would do for high shots.
