Tested the video-downlink, and removed the landing-legs to be able to pan the cam (without legs in the pic). For now I am using CLP(copter launch platform) 1.0, I have no better idea for the moment, so it has to work that way until my retracts are ready:

If you go with the shutter above 200 on the Nex, do you get any jello effect?

Great video Ferdinand. Even the non z15 footage looked pretty stable.

@Paul,
The Z15, S800 was from the preorder (so directly from DJI). In Europe I would order from digitech.nl (which I already knew from my Kerosin times ). I got my waypoints from them.

Finally got my z15 today! Wow this thing is impressive bit of kit. Just waiting for my s800 ESCs to come back and finally will get to shoot with it. So many ideas about to come to reality

Has anyone mounted the GcU on the gimbal frame? I'd appreciate any photos of other setups...

This is how I have mine attached... You can access the USB and also the bus connector for easy disassemble.

Perfect, thanks. I was thinking about mounting a plate with the holes shown in the right of your shot, but that's much simpler.

Another Z15 newb question: How worried about dust should I be? I live in the desert pretty much and everywhere I shot with my Flexacopter, invariably the Gimbal and heli would end up covered in dust from the takeoffs and landings as there was no clean grassy alpine field to launch from. Are the direct drives totally sealed? Should I be bringing tarps to launch off of?
