Gimbal GCU connection

At first I just want basically the following:

1. Orientation loced Mode and FPV Mode.
2. TILT axis rotation control.

I donīt need shutter sw.

Is it possible to simply connect only two channels from Tx to GCU? (two 3-position switches)

(I have received my Z15 and want to test it this weekend!)

Are there any test videos made with the GH2?

@oylore

Yes it is, you just connect the channels you want to have, the others will be at a "default". Today I mounted the Z15 on a carbon hexa and forgot to connect it to the receiver, works also. The cam stays in fpv-mode and the tilt-axis is always pointing at the horizon.

Zenmuse on Carbon Hexa (3 min 0 sec)

Hello. Am I correct that I wouldn't be able to use the Z15 on a WK-M octo configuration, since it's a requirement that it will be driven from WKM's gimbal outputs?

Thanks!

Not, it's not correct, Z15 connects WKM through Can-bus, it will not use any of WKM 's gimbal output.

The Z15 will work on a octo WKM... as said it is running on Can-bus and you control the gimbal with some more channels on your RX....

thanks for the correction, piccolo and rsun. i thought that's why they made the s800 as a hexa instead of octo

Thank you! I already bought a WK-M but wanted it to be on an octo config. Putting it in a DW frame. I hope this really is the end in my search for the perfect gimbal.

Which EU store do you recommend to buy Zenmuse and how long do you wait for it?
