If your taking off from an area with a lot of loose particles (like dirt) that get kicked up upon take off you may want to make your self a little landing area with a plastic tarp. Make sure you put weights or something on the tarp to keep it from flapping up.

It's not mine. Am a one man show so I have my radio mod with pots on both stick.
That station can easily be made by the average DIY guru

Case, ps3 thumb stick. Screen, cheap radio for tx gutting, battery, vid live feed tx. Bits and bobs, time and concentration

Come to think of it am going to build one.

I was thinking about open up my TX9 and use build it inside a controller like that.
A ground station controller with a 7" LCD would be nice.

Good question on the Ruling controller. I saw it in Vegas at the ASUAV show. Very cool, the the price, +/- $5k, will put most of us out of the market.

I know others have mentioned this before, but how many Zenmuse owners here in the US are using the Panasonic GH2 version? Have any of you been able to use it without changing the camera into PAL mode? This is unacceptable for the US market. Is DJI working on giving us a different HDMI to composite converter?

5K for only a TX with a video RX

another question, when talking about dust into the NEX cam.
What about the ZEN itself?
the step-motors dont have any cover, and are very exposed for dust that the props winds up?

they dont need any cooling, so I dont understand why they are open like that.

I have the camera set to PAL but I don't really see the problem, the tranmitter sends out NTSC, I shoot at 23.97 iin camera, works nicely

Well I have the GP3 and was going to get some video until the compass recall came out in which my GPS units are all new so I had to send them in. Without the compass I am unable to allow the Z15 to function. Have to wait till it comes back.
