Agreed, except when testing what works it's much better to only change one thing at a time.

With the new strut position and the extra 1lb of weight, it'll be impossible to tell which actually helped. For all anyone knows, it could've run even better with the strut in the original position but with the extra ballast.

I did finally dig out the scale again. Without the 2 4s 5000 ma lipos the hull with hatches, ballast and hardware comes in at 9 lbs 7 oz. Add in the 2.5 lbs for batteries and I have a 12 lb P mono.

My 39" Racemaster comes in at 12.8lbs fully loaded and its only about 7" wide!

My Falcon cat only weighs 17 and it's runing 9s 2p. with a 3 lb motor. It does seem porky to me at 12 lbs. (reminds me of the Miller). I plan to try it w/o the ballast 1st. At least there it will be down to 11 lbs. If it still walks I'll drop it back in. The velcro makes it pretty easy. With the lead out it cg's at 10" with it in, 10.5" .

I just weighed 39" 6s2p Vader and its 11.2 lbs loaded up.
