Tony,

I don't think that's the Zenmuse in this thread!

Looks like Colins Gunns cineron footage to me. In which case it's the pro version which we have no details for yet.

I think you are right. I forgot they had a pro version. I seen part of that footage before but not the whole video as it looks like it was just uploaded.

That is the commercial version. That is also one of our VarioCam helis we designed and built for them.
Shameless plug, I know.

Pro comercial version? Interesting!
Any details about it, like cameras supported and compatibility with multi-rotors like the S800 or another new even bigger model from DJI?

Just worried about the price tag, if the amateur version is around 3K I'm afraid this one will be aut of reach for most people that is entering the pro business.

Is there power / ESC distribution that runs through the arms?

In other words, are the motor ends of the ESCs soldered to pins on the main board? Are the motors hardwired to the arms? When the arms are removed, will there be any wires connecting them to the main board?

None of the videos that I've watched have shown the S800 assembled or disassembled with motors & ESCs installed.

Just curious of whether or not it will be necessary to plug & unplug wires when removing the arms for transportation...!

Thanks, very cool. Looks like you should be able to fit everything into a Pelican 1510 case (TSA Carry on approved).

finto, 5D type mount is next on our list .... current setup will not allow 15-20 minutes flight time using 5D. Red Epic and FS100 type will only be special order and can only be for helicopter.,
Personally, I refer using the upcoming Nex-7 over 5D. (my own preference).

Photohigher has been our partner for a long time; I am confident Kimberley will assist you.
dont agree with you there Sidney

we just delivered a Airframe to a commercial video house production.
this one weights at 14 kilo (yes 30lbs) including 5,8 kilo Payload(simulating a Red epic incl 80mm Primelens)
so i am sure the zenmuse for RED can also be used on a Multirotor.

The Zenmuse, and later the pro "Hollywood" version are perhaps excellent products, based on what is exposed.

BUT, the Zenmuse has no pictures, no brochure published.
On the contrary, DJI marketing dpt made a crazy spreadsheet, almost unreadable, to explain "discount" in a very complicated way.
"Buy now blindly, we will unveil later?"

I remember the WKM multi-rotor launch with initial price incentive and then price reduction.

I own WKM and Naza, but I bought them "after the waves" at the best price.
In the first "season", I learnt that DJI marketing sits at the forefront to catch impatient buyers!

So, for the second "season", I will apply again ancient wisdom:
"Good things come to those who wait, but only the things left over by those who hustle" < Lincoln! not Confucius ...

The ESC is under the engine? Is this correct?
Where are the cables? In the arm?
