Yup, you're right on all 3 counts:

1. Flying is therapeutic
2. All my MM fuselages came glued together (hence the RR designation, read: for newbies)
3. No tail wheel. But doesn't mean you can't stick one in and attach it to the rudder.

Yeah, and tell him he might sell more if he lowers the price.

Hi Gents,

Got mine this morning. Box was a little rough with a hole in one side, but no apparent damage other than a slight wrinkle in the decal sheet in a non-critical area; I'm probably not going to use them anyway.

I was also surprised to see it already assembled. But that's okay with me; I didn't really need another project. Adding aileron servos and a tail wheel will be enough, and I'm happy to fly it 3-channel for a while, since I'm a noob.

Adding ailerons later will make for an easier transition from the HZ Champ to the FMS/Airfield Skytrainer (Cessna) 182 - just what I needed.

Cheers,
Dave

Thats one of the great things about multiplex, they tend to think ahead. Having the ailreons cut and the mounting holes already in place is a big plus, even though it would not take long, I would still be hard pressed to get it to look that nice, also including the hardware for the ailerons is cool as well. So what would have been a 2 hour project and having to get hardware becomes 20 mins of dropping in servos. I got my twister sepreatly today, I have yet to go home to see what kind of condition it is in though.

Twister Arrival

My son called and said my Twister has arrived.

He said the box, the Multiplex photo covered box showing what's inside, has some scuff marks but there are no holes, dents, creases, etc...

When I get home from work, I'll give it a thorough internal inspection and report back if I find any damage. No follow-up will mean I didn't find any.

no damage to mine, a little tear on the box, and what looks to be factory black marks on the bottom of the plane but no big deal whatsoever. Both packages showed up good, and considering the price I am more than happy.

The minimags showed up yesterday, still waiting on the Twister. Mini mags were double boxed and had paper wrap to keep boxes from moving. Very impressed with the cost and service so far.

Bp hobbies, its 36.99 it has motor, esc, mount, prop, and connectors. Now they dont give any specs on the motor esc so it maybe a gamble.

Thanks, i just pulled the trigger on that, as well as the floats. You could probably get the power upgrade cheaper shopping around but not worth it.

porcia83, perhaps you could start a build thread, especially with the floats as there really is not much here on RCG.
