No, a great deal would be $5.00 but it's a good deal. I got one. HiMax are pretty good motors.

i got my fun cub today, its alot bigger then i thought! i want to know if i can run a 3s with the stock brushless set up? in the directions they recommend a 2s 1800mah with the supplied prop, so do i just need to change the prop? i have a 30 amp esc i was thinking of throwing in it just cause it already has a xt60 connector and is much bigger.

I'm running a 3S 2250 with a GWS ep-9050 prop on an otherwise stock EasyCub. I'm easily getting 15-20 minute flights, with lots of battery left to spare.

You should use the ESC that comes in the power set. The FunCub is not an EasyCub. The FunCub you should run on 3S, 2200mAh pack. Item 19 in the manual. If you are talking about an EasyCub, I don't have a clue.

The easy cub is a fun cub or vice-versa with a different wing. The easy cub typically uses a 200w motor on 3 cells and the fun cub typically uses a 300-400w motor on 3 cells.

So what are the major differences between the Fun and Easy?
Would this Easy Cub with a flatened wing and set up full house be just about the same?

Thanks,

The Fun comes with a bigger motor and flat aileron wing, I think the Fun might have bigger "tundra" type wheels on it too. Using the Easy with a modded wing would probably feel just like the Fun. With 3S and a smaller prop on my stock Easy, it's got more than enough power and unlimited vertical( after all, it's a Cub, not a pylon racer ).

The most difficult part is to remove the dihedral from the wing(especially if you want to keep it a two-piece). I wanted to buy the nylon wing joiner for the fun cub but it is part of a $30.00 plastic set so I just cut the old one. After that it's just cutting out the ailerons and flaps, mounting the servos, installing a larger motor and wheels.
