I also have another Multiplex model I got in a trade that has similar dents and is made of the same foam so I hope this can be fixed. The foam beads are slightly separated at the outside of the bend. Can a tiny bit of CA be used there while I bend it back? Still, very minor damage compared to what others have experienced. Here's a pic of my damage.
I'd bend it back my hand, or put it in very hot water for a minute, then work it!

It also looks like you can take the dihederal out if you modify the center plastic mounting brace. I am going to try and drill it out and run a straight carbon fiber rod through it. I will report back.
I didn't get mine in yet but I may do it to one of them. Not sure exactly how the wings join but I might try cutting the center plastic "saddle" section in the middle and gluing it back together with no dihedral. Will have to glass that center section too and maybe insert a cf spar. Would be nice to keep it a two piece wing. Will just have to wait until I see it.
The wing servos cavities will have to be routed out and the servos mounted on their sides. With a little work this should make a very nice cub. If the wing is going to be straightened it could also be made into a clipped wing cub!

I you should be able to incorperate the flap hardware from the funcub, its a bummer they dont sell single parts though, only parts sets. I dont know if you could get the same thing from another place.

You could accomplish, almost, that same scale flap set-up using hinge point hinges along with the sockets.

what sockets are you referring to? the thing I like about the multiplex hinges is that they himg a good deal below the wing, offering separation of the flap from the wing.

What's the advantage to having the flap separate from the wing instead of being hinged like a standard control surface? Just curious.

Pockets actually(I call them sockets), along with the hinge point hinges set at the scale angle to give full 90 degree deflection. Similar to the hinges on a Stuka.

I really don't know, I just like how they look. Also you can get a full 90 degree throw without any bind.

Greetings

Is there a part # for the fun cub that includes the hinges and control horns to set up the flaps?

Thanks Will
