Pink Floyd was 24ft, so it's close. Add a couple of wing-tips and you could beat the record.

The super sized 50ft Pink Floyd 2 never got off the ground.

This one looks better built, but also heavier. Is it going to be electric?

SG Talon... Super Genius.
If you are going to go that big why not just build one you can ride in?

BTW, many homebuilt aircraft use foam as the major material for creating the shape of the plane. Almost all of Burt Rutan's homebuilt designs were wood spar, foam filling, and fiberglass covering.

Impressive build. Looks well thought out. Are those tires off a 'power wheels'?

I bet that happens in the future. Eli is working on his pilot license and thay have the skills to do it.

Cool, please take some more photos and post them here, and keep us updated.

Do you have any target numbers for AUW, stall speed and top speed?

I imagine it would take at least twice as much effort (and probably at least 4 times as much money) to build a home-built ultralight plane.

I will tell you that this plane in question was built from the statement "Why Not! Somebody should do it". After building countless foam planes each with unique designs and flight styles the lust towards the next build lessens and lessens. You have to find a way to keep the fire burning......Welcome to the World of Team Abby Normal and I'm that guy. We love to build from dreams not plans, No matter how this plane flys it will be a success in our eyes form the lessons learned and friends made because of it.

Something disturbing about building/ flying a 'toy' airplane that's bigger than one, one could ride /fly in.

The difference is the SUDDEN STOPS! It is much less painful if you are not in the airplane!
