Nope..I've been looking and looking, but can't see any disparity..I'm sure I'm getting this wrong, but honestly they look the same..

Is it a colour variation, or am I way off mark?

Fascinated to know now, lol.

Ive read posts from Joe about the i-Fly available from Idea-Fly, the Mfg, at the beginning of the thread Joe commented it was available for around $400, with camera mount..
Ive checked the (idea-fly.com) website several times and have not seen any shopping cart, parts section, package deals or anything else where you can actually buy something..
In fact, I dont even see the I-Fly 4-S on their site..

I have seen it (I-Fly-4) priced and available on other sites though, hobbyking being one of them of course.. but they dont have any complete RTF packages..

Just wondering.. I received an email this morning from the dealer/distributor (where PigStix and me bought our i-Fly 4-S RTF setups from), that my order has been "Shipped"..
Does that mean Idea-Fly is actually sending the order ?

Either way, I'm glad it has been shipped, cant wait to get it..
Mine has been shipped too but like you not sure if that's shipped from Shenzen or Sheffield. lol! (I don't actually know where either business is located by the way)
Maybe the shipping process could be made a little clearer on ALL the distributors websites as it is something that would probably have an influence on someone's decision to buy or not. Instead all you have in the small print is that
(you as the purchaser are liable for any import taxes etc etc)
At a guess I would say its probably coming from idea fly but I'm sure someone will put us straight.

Off out this morning to buy myself a balance charger at a local hobby store maybe one of these.

and to see what other goodies they have, knowing my luck my ifly will turn up while I'm out.

Hi Mavrick

The material is not the same ,one is much bigger strength( original one) ,and the cheap one is DIY version ,old material ,much softer! and we have hundreds in stock ,now we are clearing out the stock ,but we only sell to RC store ,very cheap!

That is dangerous for your reputation.
If you have frames in stock with lesser quality they should be scrapped not put out on the market.

Pigdogstix: The charger in your link is fine, but I'd suggest getting one of these:

You will find in time, as you get more batteries, charging singularly is a chore, I have one of these multi chargers and love it:-)
Of course it's up to you, but the charger you are looking at will work perfectly.

Joe from IFLY. Any chance you could sell me a canopy? I have lost mine, it fell off in flight.

Thanks

Matt

Thanks Matt, I was looking at that charger but thought I'll just get this one for now to get me up in the air and maybe look at upgrading when I buy some more larger batteries in the near future.

I've got a sickly AR Drone (that went swimming so its got some water damage & the motherboard & a couple of motors died as well) can't justify paying more out on it when its limited in its flight behaviour anyway so I'm going to use that as a base to build my own quad sometime, if the 4s is nice & the FC and other components can be bought separately I might try an whack them in it and have two ifly's albeit one dressed up as an AR drone, lol!

That accucell 6 was on my list as well PinDuke as was the IMAX version of the four button charger but got put off by the clones knocking around.

After venturing outside realising how cold it was I decided to order it on line, couldn't be bothered to go all the way over and pick it up, not sure if that's classed as laziness or not!
