I'm planning to make it over again this year, not sure what I will bring with me though but it might be a even bigger crate than I had last time in 2010.

My point is simply that I would prefer to know what the fan/plane is capable of, a dive isn't really helping determine that IMO.
Hi Jack,
I hear what you're saying. you want to see what the plane can do, unadulterated, how fast can it go, like a drag race.

As a spectator, I actually like the dive format better. It's already been pointed out many times that the fastest hardware is not necessarily the fastest plane, it also takes a really good pilot. Last year someone mentioned to me it actually takes a skilled pilot to point his pride and joy straight down at full throttle and hold it there allowing the speed to build up and then pulling out smoothly, not too soon, not to late. It's much more interesting to watch from my point of view.

No reson we can't do both really, one for best-in-class speed and the other for fastest overall pass (no restrictions)...

Sweet! Are you running your eBandit on 16S now? Time to update your eBandit thread! Can't wait to see that. Mine's been on order for about 5 weeks so still a few weeks away from seeing it first hand.

Trevor, watching you guys was worth the price of admission! Hope you can make it, Darby Dan is probably the nicest facility I have ever flown at and is private to boot. We'll see you again in Ottawa and by all means, take a few more models home in one piece! it will be great to have the "Canadian Embassy" more populated this year. My Best, Terry
