haha, I know. my pants and my spinner broke earlier that morning, but I had no wind and my pro camera guy, so I couldn't resist.

Put the decals on that thing!

More great, on the edge flying. You might want to get a back up!

thanks guys. another calm early spring night.

my rudder servo was refusing to center properly so I just did as much low and floppy stuff as I could. I really want to smooth out my 3D now, make it look a bit more controlled.

thanks Bryan. my goals for this summer are to get as comfy with inverted harrier as I am upright, clean up my torque rolls, and nail rolling loops consistently. that's why I love this 3D business--always something new to work on and improve.

Well, my servos are here.... still waiting on the airframe. My coworker's Laser arrived today so I got to inspect the airframe. Maybe it's just me, but it looks like the fuselage is significantly larger than my Edge back home...

I can't WAIT to get mine in the air!

Laser on 72mhz

I am setting up my Laser and was a little concerned about the CF rods going down the lower body and my antenna routing. Anyone else flying 72 with one of these. I am in a small club and not many of us have bothered to switch to 2.4.
I usually route the ant. out the body at the air outlet and on the exterior to the back of the rudder. In the laser I have routed it straight back to the elevator cutout and up over the elevator and out to the back of the rudder with about 5" hanging. I this enough separation or do I need to go to the out side and string it to the top of the vertical like we used to. ( the RX is a Lepton 6)
Thanks, Alex

It will be fine. I was flying 72 when I built my first 40 inch edge EXP.
Just keep the antenna away from the carbon fiber wing tube. don't worry about the stringers.

Man you're the first guy at your club with an exp, you should be one of the first guys at your club flying 2.4! The futaba FG8, or spectrum DX8 would be a awesome upgrade!

Thanks Ducati
I use Royal Evo/Pros 9+12 and have not yet seen any reason to convert either one.

My Laser and servos are here... now waiting on receiver, extensions, etc.

What size Xoar would you guys recommend for the combo setup (Torque motor, Airboss ESC, etc)? I really want a white one... they're expensive but look sooooo good.
