Very cool doc. Nice to see a laser vid. The quality of your vids is really good now and your camera person does a great job. Looks like you had a break from the wind, can usually hear it blowing.

The wind was so loud that I cranked up the music volume to cover it up. It's been pretty horrible this year and I can't tell you why. The only saving grace is that if you fly in it every day you eventually get used to it.

Oh, yeah............ definately getting a 60" Laser when those come out.

Would a 3S setup and a Motrolfly 2820-950 be a good match for this plane for a light setup?

I did a death slide today with my 3DHS 48" Edge all the way to the earth. Killed it! I'd like to use the same motor/batts/ESC/BEC that I had in the Edge.

Batts are TP 2250 65C's.

Looks like you have an 88" Edge. If you haven't tried a small airframe from EF, I'd recommend it. They are pretty incredible. But 4s is a lot more fun than 3s to me in their 48" airframes. With the power combo, it's $120 for the motor and esc. I'd think you could get around $100 for your 2820-950 and esc.

Thanks. I had a 48" Edge EF on 3S with a Torque motor, and it was floaty and very nice. I am in Denver so I like light.

You are correct, I do have a DA60 in my 88" Edge and love it!

that motor goes 4s easy with a prop and battery change 12x6 prop loads of go.
Used to go back and forth with my 48 edge like that. Had a great time with it

sheldon out of all the EF 48" frames this is the floatiest and yet it is the most stable. I find that due to the stability its the plane I fly the lowest and most stable harriers with, hell its easier than the edge to harrier.

Anyways, it can rock out with all of them and doesn't get blown around anymore than the other 48's. I fly this airframe the most but the POS turnigy motor decided to throw its bearings so now i'm waiting for my motrofly motor.

This airframe fits between the edge and the extra EF planes.
