"Made of the latest blend of EPO foam, perfectly smooth, no lizard-skin garbage here!"

Interesting...I'd like to see a good close up of this new EPO. Sounds like a winner!

edit: Upon closer inspection of the photos, it doesn't appear that this EPO is any smoother than all the rest. You can really see the texture in the tail wheel pic. Hmmm.

I think it looks pretty cool - The prop is huge! I really like the fact that they made a retractable tail wheel on a Corsair. The options with that feature are severely limited and I HATE warbirds with only main gear retraction. Looks terrible, IMO. I'd rather them do it right or not do it at all, personally.

The price is a little steep, but I've been very impressed with the quality of Unique Model Tech's products - Especially their T-6A.

EasyTiger has been hit or miss though - My first order with them was awesome, but when I tried to buy a prop and a new T-6A, not so much. It's been about one month since I ordered that, and still nothing. Do you know if this will be offered through other vendors?

Good eye Roswalt! http://www.uniquemodelrc.com/proshow.asp?id=443

I guess If HK were to get them in the US Warehouse, then that wouldn't be bad.

Maybe NP might get it, since they lost FMS.

Pretty sure that if PW or RC CASTLE had them, then that would be a no-brainer. Those guys often have parts available as well as service after the sale. Imagine that! They also have an uncanny knack for only listing online what they stock, and shipping the product on time. By reputation anyway.

I love a nice F4U. As a kid, Bah Bah Blacksheep was my favorite show.

Yes I will be getting it from Easy Tiger. I have had dealings with Curtis for over 3 years and always had great service from him. I have been looking for another Corsair and had my eye on the BH, but with all the issues they have had with that one I wouldn't go near it even if it were free.

Looks great and seem like it flies great....

but... just to challenge Curtis's "take note scale police".

flaps incomplete
main landing gear units protrude from lower wing skins.
Rockets look like they could nuke and entire country!
paint scheme (and model (F4U-4 or -5) is Korean war! don't play ww2 music!

would probably had looked (and flown) better with a near scale 3 blade and made into an F4u-1d!

oh well.. nice model though

I have had mine since March and have flown it a lot. Still getting used to it being faster than my PZ Corsair, but it is a load of fun and a buddy of mine has really wrung it out trying to stress the airframe. No problems at all out of it and the retracts are holding up great on the grass/ tundra airstrip
