Can we use our Blog to host files other than video?

I have a few old FMS, AeroFly/Easyfly and FlightGear virtual model zips I'd like to archive.

Some of these do exceed the zip size limits though. I know lots of members here host rather large video files, (some upwards to 100+ megs) I'm just curious if a few smaller, 5 to 20 meg zips of 3D models, and their .wav files, material, mapping etc. could be hosted in my blog?

If the site is not allowing those files to be uploaded then it seems as though it will not work.

Has anyone given a thought as to why? I mean my whole folder wouldn't come close to some of the bandwidth used in archived vids of some users.
