The weather is getting more and more unpredictable, even short term forecaster's have a problem being accurate. I went to sleep with forecast saying 61* with 5-10 mph winds from south......Only to find next morning was 79* and 40 mph gust from the north ? LoL......I enjoy lime with my beverage

Absolutely beautiful flying day in Mo. yesterday. Mid 60's, 7-8 mph breeze, couldn't ask for much more.

Happy to hear you got some flying in Bobly I'm noticing it's calmer in mornings than as day progresses with flying in NY.The ground turbulence these days is freaky in a way. More severe and unpredictable.
It's one of the reasons I won't invest in para gliding gear like a buddy recently did. I kitebuggy and kitesurf and see a big difference trying to read winds.
Anyhoo....between all the my vehicle registrations and permits for this season now out the way...I'm seeing thats almost unpredictable too The fee's are making me question whats more important with maybe cutting one for expenses. I'm "Glad" my race track didn't raise his membership.
Funny, It almost got wiped out in wildfires last week.... with like a hundred yards between track grounds and where fire was actually put out.

I'm curious, has anyone else's club fees or permits gone up this year?

....No flying for me atm, its been raining for the last 5 days here, ironically it started raining the day that a hosepipe ban was brought into force because of the lack of rain we had been having. This coming week doesn't look good either......

95F is too hot to fly anything!

I once tried to fly my Kaos when we were assigned to Barksdale (Bossier City, LA) in the summer. I was able to handle the heat okay, up until I looked down at the transmitter. Sweat dripped onto my glasses, so when Iooked up, I was half-blinded by the drops

Fortunately, the model was climbing, so I had time to toss my glasses and make an emergency landing. That was the last time I flew in 90+ degree weather!

Aaah! I'm starting to get the shakes from lack of flying. Need my fix. If I have to I'll take one of the heli's out in the yard and keep it low and hope to survive.

I agree - this is my build/crawler season. Historically, the winds here should die down considerable in the next month or so. But there's only so much sim time I can handle and it's making me twitchy...

Yeah build time. Got a shipment of EPP coming from rcfoam today. If fedex doesn't loose it again. Been working on the $tree yak and have it done and ready to fly. Even put red and blue flashing lights on it. Looks kinda cool in the dark. I posted pics of it on the scratch build foamie thread. Called the dollar tree thread.
