Arizona Fun
A southern Arizona RC pilot has to endure hardships waiting for a window of good weather to fly. Here is the grim forecast I have to face most days...

This Afternoon: Mostly sunny, with a high near 90. West southwest wind around 6 mph.

Tonight: Partly cloudy, with a low around 57. West northwest wind at 8 mph becoming south.

Monday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 91. South wind around 5 mph becoming calm.

Monday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 57. West northwest wind at 5 mph becoming south southwest.

Tuesday: Sunny, with a high near 90. South wind between 5 and 7 mph.

Arizonafun, how do you cope? Tomorrows forecast for where I am - Highs of 5c (41f), rain showers, turning to heavy rain later, with winds up to 25 mph on the high ground, and gusts up to 40 (Yep, where I am!).
Yet...A week ago I was sweating like a pig in 22c (71.6f) heat, with no wind...at the start of April. And everyone wonders why the british talk about the weather?

44* , cloudy and 15 mph wind out of the west, not too bad, but will get better. Tried 2 planes yesterday and it was definitely too windy for them.

,Well it's 65* plus and 20 to 30 mph winds here in NY. I flew my F-15 and Pitts with 6 packs between both. I'm glad I used my 65 cell count battery's because winds gusted over 40 a few times.

We finally are having good weather after around a month of severe wind and rain from what apparently is a passing cyclone centered in Northern Australia. Went to the field yesterday and ate 3 batteries before dusk...

Calm this morning , looks like i might get in a flight or 2 if the wind stays down long enough.
Are you sure this isn't March?

Day started good. Weather Guesser said light wind. WRONG! Drove 35 minutes to the field, winged up my planes and waited. 3 of us sat and waited for nothing! I de-winged my planes, drove home and I'm now having a beverage that has olives in it. I feel better.
