I know I'll get one....... but I keep putting off because of impulsive buying habits with all my hobbies as usual. I hear good things about DX8 and now that I built my portable wireless display, I want telemetry that DX8 already has. My DX7 lacks feature but all you need is sensors for each parameter you desire. Funny, I have a timer in DX7 but never tried using. How can use menu to program each model's time limit? Would I need to choose each model and set or is there a toggle to set on one program? sorry for my grammer or explanation with question. I have a few brand TX and RX's with FM and 2.4 .....the menu or channels depending sometimes need refreshing when not regularly. I mostly use spectrum now but still keep my Futaba 9c FM for heli's. Let me remember now,? I own High tech,JR,Futaba and spectrum and a few TX's that came with heli or RTF kit's. I may need to catch up researching the tech. How do you like Spectrum so far Don? whats your take?

I use a DX6i and the flight timer can be set in the menu. I just go to setup and scroll down to where it says timer. I dont know about the DX7. Probably the same. Hope this helps.

Yeah, I know that it has a timer but setting up each models limit.....will I need to punch up each model and set, or scroll threw a toggle for each model?????...... I'll look into later tonight. The DX7 has 20 presets and if I remember the DX6 had 6 models, right ? Thanks for your help Tom.

Had some flying weather yesterday morning and logged 3 flights.
No issues with any of the planes and got my flying fix.
Today is a little wet and clammy out there, so i will skip the flying.
Have a nice day!

Another written off week - too rainy and windy. Forecast dosen't look good for the weekend, looks like I'll have to do more tinkering in the shop.

Weekend looks good here.....as usual.

I should add, however, that I'm sure it's not long before we a good weather tax on the ballot. Can't have some "exploiting" good weather when others don't have it. It wouldn't be fair.

Up here in KY. The state not the jelly. Windy as usual but might get a chance to fly the Pitts 12 before I hit the road again. At least its sunny.

I'm getting a lot better flying in wind, even gusty crosswinds. That opens up a lot more flying days. I flew on Tuesday, Friday, and this morning. Flying again tomorrow.
