Fan Fold Foam & Glue

Hi:

I am new to the foamy arena and I want to build a foamy plane, but I am unsure what type of foam and glue to use when building the foam aircraft.
I went to Home Depot and they had the pink foam and it looked to be about 1/4" to 3/8" thick, I then called Lowe's and they have the blue foam and sales person told me that it was 3/8" thick.
Which one shall I use ?
Also what type of glue should be used to keep weight down ?. It looks like some use polyurithane glue(ProBond) and some use epoxy.

Thanks
Tom

Thanks a bunch, looks like I'll be on my way to Lowes for a trip for some blue foam, and I already have lots of Probond Poly. glue here in the shop.
