Been a couple of weeks but better late than never

NOTE! Pictures and comments are in reverse chronological order.

A bigger mod reducing the turtle deck formers to allow 1/16" sheeting instead of the stringers per original design. Note the colorful french curve (from air brushing).

A small mod extra reinforcement where the trailing edge of the wing meets the fuse.

High tech weight system. All of those gel cells are dead as a rock.

Fuse getting boxed out.

Nothing a little sandpaper cant fix.

Woops, first 'big' mistake. The laminated lite ply slid a little while curing.

Fast foward to wing half completion (sort of)

Wing begins to take shape.

Ribs stacked and sanded.

Getting started! Going to have to build 1/2 a wing at a time.

Some of the box contents, full size plans, illustrated maunual, and a spiffy pamplet on RC flying, some assorted hardware and a nice canopy.

The box arrrives!

More detail on the work bench. Angle braces allow me to raise/lower the cross members for a nice flat surface.
