K what is your plans for your 12-foot An-225's Plans? hand-drawn, or printed out?

Foam will work fine. I would cover it with paper.
What about the weight? That thing needs some serious weight to fly well. Too light planes do not fly well outside.
It should weigh at least 30 pounds. Absolute minimum in the wind.
With 40 pounds it would be light. Wing lift increases exponentially with span. Huge wing area there.
You need some power.

Well, optimism isn't one of our national traits neither.

However I might think about your chances of success you're sure inspiring. After I saw what you posted I just had to order two of those 12 blade fans and start a project to incorporate them. Two, in case one's doa. (And you will not see me within 30 meters of those cheap fans when they are running, or in the same room while bench testing)

Hope this leads somewehere. Btw. the 90mm seems to see like hot cakes. Better order your 12 soon.

Nice, happy to hear that things are moving forward.

Where would you put the Impeller in an Me-163? Or the Inletduct to be more precise. It's a He P.1078C. The Interweb has some Images just don't forget the C at the end.

If you give me your emailadress I can send them to you, but they are extremely incomplete, no wings, etc. I basically just started. It's a small easy & quick project.
