Keenan,
One issue I do not see here is getting the engines wired up so they work ok. Long leads can give motor blackouts. I had a hard time getting info on 4 engines so I went ahead and did my own plan with a 7 Amp BEC. This may not be enough for handling larger servos in any amounts. I would try to make contact with the builder of the larger B-36 plane guy if it is E-Power to have a look at his system. I had guys in electronics say my system will not work and fail. Not yet anyways. They never offered me a wiring system. I used some 10AWG wire near the batteries and tapered down to 12AWG further out. Weight climbs fast with components. I made up my own servo wires to length after the splitters also.

You can make the battery side leads as long as you want if you put enough capacitors on the battery side to control the voltage ripple.

i still think batteries in the wingbox should work

Build to Fly? FLY to BUILD!

Batteries in the wings?
That would be awesome, not only would it be awesome it would increase the payload capacity like it does on the real one.

Are you going to be hauling anything in this bird? I'm sure you could load it up with some RC tanks made of steel and lead bricks and it would still fly fine

Batteries, and escs in the wings work fine.I don't care how many capacitors you use, you want to keep battery to esc leads short. There really isn't any issue lengthening motor leads. Speaking from experience. Have a 10 lb A26 with everything in the wings, and have run motor leads over 2 feet in length with zero problems. Jim

my plan is to have the batteries in the wingbox with the esc's 6" away with there heatsinks poking out of the wing and then the motor wires down to the motors ??
