That is interesting...I wonder if maybe it did pop in mid-flight. With everything apart now and waiting on replacement parts, I'll try and bend my dogbones into 7's like in this picture and with adding the paperclip on Tuesday to replacement part - maybe that will solve my issue.

... and I should sit around all Saturday looking at a not-built-in BL motor??

...but seriously folks . According to Singapore Post my stuff arrived in DE on Thursday, so I'd imagine I should have it by the weekend. Quite sure The Wife & Kids can think of some way to keep me busy Saturday, so if you can make it Sunday, lets do it. Might be an idea to see if your son can drive since "beer will be supplied" .

If you can't make it, lemme know and I'll just make a start as soon as the gear arrives.

Cheers

Cool where did you get the kit from as in my setup I don't use that servo connector.
Got them at Hobbypartz.com. They were a bit slow to ship IMO, but they finally got here about two weeks after I ordered them.

Hey Jan, welcome to the forum.

How does the heli handle the desert conditions? I would imagine you could just blow any sand out of the works as there isn't going to be much moisture but what do 45+ temperatures do to the motors , even with heat sinks on?

Cheers
Fin
