I must have dun something right in a prior life... went out for a wee flight this am (temp 16f [-9c] winds outta the N @ 9 mph... got set, just as i went to spool 'er up a SERIOUS gust just hammered me, tears in my eyes serious... Now dont start the funeral proceedings, I had forgot to plug in the main motor. Plugged the MM in and sat it back down... sure enough the gods of flight were right, ANOTHER blast hit me. Took that as a sign to "Go back inside lad"
Now THAT is the good kind of mistake! Had it been me, the tail motor would have been unplugged...

I know one thing: Before I set the throttle on this thing to 100%, I'm gonna be in somebody's corn field- with about 1/2 mile in any direction to come down.

NWS Anchorage AK Today:
Periods of snow this am... then scattered snow showers and isolated pockets of freezing rain in the afternoon. Accumulation < 1"
Highs in mid 20's to mid 30's
Variable winds 10 mph except southeast 45-60 mph along turnagain arm and higher elevations
LOL i am 1/4 mile from the inlet, that first gust was easily 30 mph and the second had to be more

30A is a little overkill for the EH200, but I just noticed the price difference so get the F-30A if you choose.

Bob, I took everything off the board that I marked, including the plug sockets. I plugged it in, turned on, and it bound to the Tx and the camera worked. Unfortunately, I did not see your post until this morning and I was not as gental as you would have liked on the removal of the FET. Sorry. BUT! I have a board with a burnt trace that I can send you. Just PM me your address and I will pop it in the mail.

My motor plate had extra holes that lines up perfect with the motor. I will seee if I can find out the correct screw size for you.

yanno kp, i flew @ 50% throttle for a week before i bumped her up to max... didnt crash any less lol.found that the rudder should be turned down to 60% to keep from canceling cyclic in turns
i decided that i am keeping 1 stock (mostly, only battery upgrades) and build 1 with all the BL goodies. that way i can fly more than not

Gyro is broke to s**t. Here is the board and the FET with zero legs. I just soldered the burnt trace and the board still powers the motor.
