It tames down the thing a little and you can move to the inside when comfortable to increase response.
I appreciate the advice. I'll think on this for a bit while I wait for the BL items for the F45 to come in.

Have you had any problems with your. Several of the people who bought the F645 export version reported poor quality. Most of us who have bought on Aliexpress have got the mainland China version and have had vertually no problems.

Aside from one tail motor, and the flybar beating the s*** out of the tail boom, no problems what so ever.

As for the flybar hits, I made a bumper using plastic split wiring cover. I used 3 pieces and it only adds 3 grams.

If you where planning that, I would suggest just getting a devo 7channel RX, 2 cheap speed controllers and a $10.00 gyro. It would be cheaper and you would have parts you can move to another heli later if you so desire.
If you get a devo, go for the 8s. I have a 7 which is what everyone is trying to peddle to get rid of them and it is not a very good tx. I only use it for Phoenix flight sim and keep it plugged in to a power converter because the battery life is so poor. Hard to program compared to devo 8.
I assume the smaller birds like the UFly's and CB180 etc are all WK RX's not Devo? Since they are older models, I was hoping I could have a simple drop in replacement, but looks like CP style electronics is the way to go with separate ESC, RX and Gyro.

Also I'll be getting the Devo 10 I plan to get into Multicopters in the next year or so, and I've been told the 10 is a great radio for it's price, and will do everything I need.

I thought 6 channels was plenty for a quad. I know better, now. 10 should cover it unless you get a fancy camera setup. Then you will probably want 12 or more.
