Announcing the Sacramento Valley Soaring Society’s first ALES (Altitude Limited Electric Soaring) contest for 2012. Opening day will be on Saturday March 3rd with a pilots' meeting at 9:30 and first launch at 10am.

Our monthly contests are open to anyone with a current AMA membership and to any plane that meets the ALES guidelines. The cost is $10 for one class and $15 for two. A hot lunch will be available for $5.

The event will take place at the SVSS flying field, Grasslands Regional Park, Davis, California. 3.8 miles south of I-80 on Mace Blvd.

You can RSVP by sending an email to aric_wilmunder@hotmail.com including your name, AMA number, transmitter frequency, and whether you are entering in the open, foamy, or both classes.

Our ALES season includes contests on the first Saturday of each month from March until November, and our 2-day ALES event on September 22nd & 23rd.
