PL8 and parallel charging
I must be overlooking a setting.
I have 4 6S 3300mah packs in parallel that I want to charge at 25A. I set my input power supply settings at 27A and with a 28V supply, it should easily be capable to charge at 25A to these packs (according to the online calculator).
My preset has:
Parallel Packs: 4P
Charge Amps: 6.25A (I'm assuming the PL8 will multiply # of packs by charge current.)
But the PL8 will only charge at 10A. It thinks that my single lipo is to charge at 2.5A.
What setting is wrong on my preset?
You need to use a preset with the words "High Power" in it. All the others are limited to max 10A charge current. Try that first. Let me know how you make out.
