very nice, are those APC e props your using? if so any reason for not using the supplied ones?--martin

They are both APC props. I like the 9x7.5 SloFly prop the best with the C gearing and the 350 motor. Gives me the most top speed without losing too much low end.

The GWS RS props are pretty weak. I belly land so the props are constantly getting stressed. They also buzz in a dive which bothers me. The APC props are at least as efficient as the GWS props, probably more.

Here's my 109. It's a pre-production unpainted kit that I did in Swiss Neutrality paint.

an unconventional approach... this here is a "sports" version of the spitfire. war is bad... 'cause, 'cause, war is for angry people... nah, actually, i wanted something quick and different. well, at least now i can see which side is up from 10 miles away.

Here´s a Pic of my Me109. It´s put on the shelf at the moment, because I wanted to try the MPJet 25/25-26 Brushless in my Alfa P47 instead. A nice crasch with the Me109 provided the perfect opportunity for this swap.
No worries, she´s all repaired and ready to go, but I will keep her as my backup model for the time being.

I hate to admit it, but it seems like the Germans were a lot more imaginative when it came to paintschemes than the Brits. The Spitfires and Hurricanes come in the early (BoB) Olive-Drab/Dark-Earth or the later (1942-45) Olive-Drab/Dove-Grey paintschemes. Look at the proliferation of different paintjobs for the ME109s!!!

The Spitfire is my favorite plane, but when it comes to painting the ME109 offers a lot more choices for colorful, yet perfectly scale looks.

No flames please!!!
