TC I have some Right Angle 3 pins on order, there should be no problems using them on this FC right?

Thank you.

If you're going to desolder the original ones, sure. The 3x6 header is very close to the board edge, so an angled one should do fine there.

I've been wondering if I should send stuff out with headers assembled or not.

I know it is late for me, but I would prefer headless.

Timecop , could we get a rough guess on when orders will be taken ? I think the demand will be considerable and I'd like to get one.

I might start making some tomorrow morning once I get actual work that pays out of the way. I'm still short on some parts and only got like 30 usb connectors left, those will be here in a couple days.

Hi tc,

Board arrived an hour ago, fitted it straight into my hack/test quad, and did a quick hand held test and everything checked out so did a little hover completely on defaults and the Frsky D4FR on ppm and it flew, so excellent cant ask better than that. connected it to the computer, board powered up, and when i ran dev 10120203 everything in the Gui is on a massive slowdown, there is a 30 second delay, i move the board 30 secs later the gyro and acc register the movement, same with the sticks, its really odd and it makes the Gui almost unuseable, i have connected another quad and everything is back to normal.Any idea whats happening?

Ray

Flash latest firmware and use 0219-dev GUI or the new WinGUI stuff from EOSBandi. (I dunno why stuff would lag other than Java sucks).

Ok updated to firmware to 0219 and it works fine in the WinGUI thingy but still lags the same in the offical multiwii GUI.
So looks like im converted to WinGui from now on, It look tons better anyway, more modern and professional.

Thanks tc

About slow GUI, I remember seeing something on multiwii forum about some USB converters needing a "fixed" rxtxserial.dll or something on windows, no idea, since it works here, but could be a start.

Well apart from locking my computer up and having to reboot etc. i dont think thats what the problem is. I just think its a crap java app and tbh i cant be bothered anymore with it, especially as the WinGUI is so good, and its only your 32 bit board which seems affected. As long as the hungarian guy who wrote it keeps the updates going, i can live with it. Im going over to WinGUI on all my girls afterall i can always come back to the java crap if i ever have to
