i can't learn fast enough
Know the feeling. I have Otto's f22 with full fuse, that I got and down quickly last week.
Got all the parts fitted for the magnum, just trying to figure the best way to get the elec in without it starting to look ugly, heheheh.

Well, today my Magnum was really put to the test. We had an average wind of 10m/s, with gusts up to 15m/s. But the Magnum coped with that and I managed to land it without breaking it. I'm using the Suppo/Grayson/Whatever 2208/12 1800kv motor with a 8x3.8 prop and a 2S 800mAh LiPo.

Glad you're enjoying the video! It wasn't the relaxed flying that the Magnum usually provides

Great job on the build and the landing.

Like maurice076 said that's better than most of mine fly in no wind day.

I can see I'll have to get my 357 finished soon.

It was so windy you could see it not lifting but forcing it down when the wind went over the top of the wing. I had a hobby-lobby wingo that would do the same thing on windy days. Nice flying . joe

Tried mine today was flying good but too much wind. Evidently not the pilot that Kelleman demonstrates. The little jewel was headed out of the park and had to dump her. I nosed her down sharp and flared about 1" above the ground. Not much damage. If the wind calms down will be flying her in the morning.

I love how these planes handle in the wind. This model responds quickly with its large control surfaces and benefits greatly from lots of expo.

Well the temps were moderate last night and the whole family was at the park, so my wife graciously consented to take some video. This was the first real use of this camera for video, and the distant background is fuzzy. Will have to figure out what setting to use for the focus, but its not too bad that I wanted to dump it. Hope you enjoy, my family did.

Landing in grass 3-4" long hangs the landing gear. This torques the wing and breaks at the fuse. I am going to install cf at the cg to see if this helps. Any additional ideas??
