Ultra Light Power Board, optimized for FrSky D8R receivers

Ultra Light Power Board, optimized for FrSky D8R receivers

Anybody have some decent info on how this works..

1. Does it use 2 power supplies at once? or just once at a time.

2. If I need more than 3A current for my servos can I connect 2X 3A supply form my ESC's on my twin?

3. Can I supply more than 6V to this board, will it regulate it down to 6V

1. works with a single supply too. Two are needed for redundancy.
2. the Schottky diodes that make the two supplies switching / isolation are rated for more than 6A, so yes, you can.
3. NO, there is no regulation, the receiver and servos must be rated for the power you apply to them ! The only power drop is about 0.2V on Schottky diodes.
