I'm getting one for sure.
I think a UM Radian would be better though

Not arguing or anything, just wondering what your thinking is?

'Bout 3 minutes?

OTOH, after viewing all the literature and the video I see great potential for it to be a World Class Indoor Thermal ship........Swiss out the stock model, set up a portable space heater in a sealed gymnasium and speck it out in the rafters.

Ken

PS; What's the deal with you stepping into The Dark Side of quadrotors? Been missing your and Swiss Peter's input and videos of VTPR. Adding this lack to Dawson's loss of his helmet cam has been harsh on many of us.

I think I'm gonna get one of these. Aero towing with the cub looks hella fun. These planes are pretty fragile though. I have the Beast and the Mossy. You can't hit anything with these meat-tray planes without busting something.

Just personal preference I guess.
HH has done a few micros of their larger models so I guess I thought the Radian would be a logical next step.plus a bigger chord for the wingspan would carry more, ie motor and folding prop.
But I'm still getting the ASK
Bind and fly slope planes are few and far between

The deal is that I'm obsessive compulsive with this stuff and suffer from severe burnout, requiring that I take some time off to do other things. Can't be helped! But I've been doing R/C for nearly 30 years and I always come back. When the fever is at a pitch, I have a lot of fun and try to be productive... it's nice to hear you enjoy it when "it's happening"

Steve

P.S. - flying slope gliders today at Ellwood with any luck. I have a new keyfob #16 camera, we'll see how this goes. I think maybe Dawson should get one too - if he can give up his beloved helmet anyways

Steve, believe me when I say I can relate to the OCD issues on a personal basis. Soooooo many neat toys and so little time!!

Anyway, thanks for all the great information and enthusiasm you share here and elsewhere...............and, oh yeah,..........very cool bike!

Handily I've just started flying Spektrum gear so this looks kind of awesome. I'm very curious to see how the AS3X system handles slope flying. And like surfimp, I've also been having a jolly good time with the mQX~.~

I think the AS3X will absolutely own it on the slope, but we'll see.

It's really ironic, a few years ago I had this "big idea" to put a gyro on the pitch channel of an aerobatics plane to help it fly with a really rear CG (with an idea towards making it possible to do flips and other crazy stuff - as it turns out, we learned this summer we can do flips and don't need the gyro) and here comes Horizon & the rest of the world with these amazing flight control boards with 3 axis+ stabilization (some have barometers and freaking SONAR fer crissakes). Such an amazing time to be in the hobby

If the ASK-21 doesn't have a horribly undercambered wing, it'll probably fly OK on a light day. Who knows, could be fun

I agree on a light day. It could be a lot of fun. Being a surfer there are a few small slopes at my beach I would like to try in between summer surf sessions...!!!
