ClearView SE RC Flight Simulator

ClearView SE RC Flight Simulator is now available on

... and it is FREE !

Simply put, the simulator is free, you pay for the models. Start flying for as low as $3.99 - the simulator uses the ClearView engine and the ClearView models, however the model format is different and models are not interchangeable between the two simulators.

Cheers to all,

I gotta say Stefan, that's an interesting idea. Good luck! (Yes, I'm being sincere)

Here is a link to a place that sells USB interface cables:
You will need to get JR cable (Spectrum uses JR style interface cables).

For best results, I recommend this USB controller that works great with ClearView and does not need batteries:

Clearview SE

I am unable to locate the Clearview SE version download in the link listed above. I only see a trial version and a version to buy the whole thing.

Can anyone help me with this? Do you have a direct link to the SE download?

I sent an email to the company when I posted my previous message, and they confirmed your statement.

I tried intstalling the SE version on another computer, but it doesn't work. Bummer. I was hoping my son could get some use out of it and we could buy the SE models we were planning on buying him in real life.

Great sim program!

Hmm, that's a shame that SE was discontinued. I don't have any particular need to by a sim that is chock full of planes that I don't want to fly, so thought the SE version with the 'buy only the planes you need' approach was a terrific idea, but I guess it didn't work out.

I was trying to find the plane download site for SE, but I guess this is why I couldn't find it.

The full version of Clearview is only about 40$ About a quarter the price of the next step up to the expensive sims. It is well worth the money. When you use a sim very often the "same" model you want to train on flies nowhere near the real thing. So having a good assortment is a good thing. My 2cents

I am sorry this monetary model of selling the Sim did not work out for Stefan. I was quite happy to recommend this for try by others and I still have my copy on my computer. While not my Sim of choice, it was a great bargain. Apparently, it was too good a bargain.
