Not to mention what appears to be granite countertop in the executive cabins. Hey, is that a Delonghi espresso machine in the mess?

Single use bathroom? Do they have to come back to port to empty it each time?

Why not have the gun controlled from the party deck and not the bridge - then you could zap a few pirates without setting down your beer.

Nice looking yacht for a model. Any plans ?

Coasties are spending allot of cash. New replacement being sought for the RB-S.

Can't complain as the 45ft RB-Ms are made in Green Bay by Fincantieri/Marinette Marine.

Why does a new boat always "steam" in to her new port? Tradition, I guess. Properly, she should arrive or enter or motor into port. For that matter why does any powered vessel "sail" to or from wherever. Again, tradition.

Looks like the Coasties are buying pleasure yachts instead of actula cutters.

Looks great but either MK's need to do a tune up or its going to be a boswain's night mare keeping the sides clean aft of the exhaust ports. It looks pretty black already. One of the reasons that I was glad that I was a MK. I had the best of both worlds, I was also a qualified coxswain.

I noticed all that black soot and wondered about it. Could be just the engineers getting used to the new powerplants.

looks normal to me, you would be surprised how fast it can build up, on the 85 foot party boat I work on we clean the transom because of the soot every few days. Also the newer (cheaper) bio diesel fuel puts out more soot.

Two reasons:
1st - Got to look really good escorting those USN ships into and out of port.
2nd - The first units are being stationed in Florida, and need to be able to blend in with the mega yachts around the Caribbean.

Some more info from the USCG. The class is being named for enlisted heroes of the USCG. Bernie Webber was the coxswain of USCG 36500, a 36' MLB that is credited with the greatest rescue at sea by a small boat.

Anybody know what a gently used 41 is selling for?
