Help!
3DHS Edge 540 48" and 58"
So just bought the 3DHS Edge 540 48 and 58" Planes. I am having a hard time deciding what power system to use..... I really like e-flite Power series motors; I have a power 10 in my Corsair, and has been a blast. I am also looking in the 58" to run either a 6 or 8 cell setup... I looked in the successful power systems thread but was unable to find the 48-58" planes.
Not looking to break the bank of power systems, but do not want to go really cheap either. Any suggestions on mid-range power systems? Thanks a TON!! |

The first obvious place to look is the plane mfg's recommendations. Match the prop size,cell count, kv, weight of motors suggested.
The search itself can be a real learning experience.  FWIW Doug B

3DHS Edige 540 48" And 58"
How are rimfire motors? I have seen mixed opinions to stay away from their smaller motors but the larger ones are ok.
