Got it...i have the x455 that i got from OSE...i was looking for another reason to pick up the thrust bearing..but i will find something and order it tomorrow.

scorp are the pickups that came with the boat...after you opened them up...are they enough? I was checking out the blades on OSE with 2 pickups built in...i see the sale the blade alone..

I dont use the tube pickup, i use a dual rudder pickup.

In your build..like page 15 post# 219 and page 18..i think ..you have pictures and you spoke of a tube attached at the transom..you talked about making it longer so it would be deeper in the water.. On your rudder it looked like only 1 pickup (single tube out of the top)..

do you have a link to the dual you use? Also, can i just do the blade, it looks like the same size that comes with the boat? ..thanks

I just used the blade, i did try the "tube" first but dont think it did well for some reason.............

Here's a pic of the motor, all i did was peel the goofy HK sticker off to test fit a water jacket.................this is how it will be sent after the water jacket was pulled off.

Looks better without ther sticker.............looks like a big Neu!

Scorp, not yet...but on one of your build links..there was a picture of your gps unit that listed the speed. How does that work...is there a poorman version? Or do i just drive the boat at me full blast...using the cop speed thingy to capture the speed.. thats a technical term.."thingy"....lol
