Launch and land practice
I just posted a new YouTube video showing how I approach launch and landing practice for thermal duration (TD) contests. I did it to answer questions from several friends but thought it was worth posting here. This video shows the last 4 landings during a 2-hour practice session at our club's field. Chris B.

Great!
Fun video! Looks like a great place to fly.
Good flying too! I think I learned more than all the soaring master videos |

Hey William, thanks for your kind comments. I just checked out your blog and I see you do landing practice too--nice vid.
BTW, your Super Supra looks awesome. One of our club members here Bill Curry has also scratch built a big Supra for CC flying. I'm passing your blog link on to him so you guys can compare notes. Good flying! Chris B. |

Looking at your blog! Very cool.
I'm thinking about a hero, we had so much fun with a 25$ mini camera. |
