The reply to my appeal was:
"I'm letting this one stand. Please edit your post."

I would have done that immediately to remove the ambiguity (comment on post, not on poster) that apparently caused it to be reported in the first place. I'm locked out of it. Please advise how I am supposed to edit it.

It looks like the moderators have taken away your ability to edit posts, so you are right you can't do that.

I will restore that for you but do not abuse the privilege or it will be taken away again.
