I'm not sure how good that description is actually. Imagine putting wall paper on a ceiling with a roller. You would first attach one end and then push the roller away from that end, drawing up the rest of the paper as you go. It's kinda like that. If you go slow and are careful, you'll get very few bubbles.

That's how I applied the white to the plane in my avatar.

Wonder how they do it at the factory?

One thing they do at factories is use very low heat, and really big irons. Something like the ones we use for ironing clothes. At least in some of the factory shots I've seen over the years that was how it was done.

Anyone have a set of 3DHS axles for the 42" - 49" aircraft that they would be willing to part with? I want to finish my carbon gear mod for the 48" Edge over Christmas break and they are out of stock at the moment.

Thanks

I have a set (not sure about the collars, so hopefully you have those). PM me your address and I'll get them out to you.

Tail Wheel Assembly - Small - 40-49" ARF Kits

Here is a great substitute for the perpetually "out of stock" tail wheel....

But the Extreme Flight Micro Tail wheel assembly is even better...more expensive, yes, but worth the money..
