I purchased a 3DHS 48" Edge 540 and have the 2216 on the elevator. For all three planes I did not have any issues with the PowerHD servo. Now, I'm not a hard 3D flyer for a whole pack but I can do some basic hover, KE, KE spin, blender, snap/tumble, wall, elevator flying mixed in with some sport/IMAC type sequences.

I've been very pleased with the PowerHD servos I've used over the last year....it's really all I've flown, even on my 102" Yak. I can't give you a direct comparison against Hitec, JR, Savox, Futaba, etc. as I haven't used these products. The PowerHD have been working for me.

On my new Edge I went with Solar servos for the rudder and ailerons. I'm over 80 flights now, they have been very reliable and precise thus far.......not one glitch or issue.
Solar d654?

I got the white rose for the 103 after breaking the stock one and then an aerowerks one. The WR is beefy. My wheel didnt look anything like the pictures on their website though. I think it is worth the money

Futaba 10c

Helping a friend with his throttle curve on Futaba 10c ( I have a 9303 ) in the throttle curve menu it has 8 Points ( if I remeber correctly ) anyway one row reads "out" and the row next to it reads "stk" can anyone explain what this means.

Thanks

What?!? I didn't do that!

If it's like my JR 11x I would have to assume "stk" means the actual stick position and "out" mean the throttle percentage being sent out to the motor set in the curve.

Perhaps you're correct, stick mean percentage of stick and out percentage of servo travel.

Why does the 11x only have a 3 point throttle curve? Kind of useless to me. Or am I doing something wrong?

Oh while I am asking Jr radio questions is there a way to put the timer on the throttle stick with the 11x. I can't seem to remember to hit the button.

11x is like that unless in heli mode, the reason I'm not getting one and will wait for a deal on a dx18

The only options I see are switches and the button next to the screen. The 11x has very limiting programming. My futaba 8fg is 10x more programmable.

You guys that are using Futaba 8FG radios do you set failsafe? I was curious what settings you are using? I am most interested for my DA-60 88" SHP

Yes and fail safe settings are a personal preference. I set up control surfaces neutral and low idle on the throttle.
