Could someone give me the thread and possibly the post number for the said link? I know I've read it a few times but can't find it. Noll's link takes me to the last page of the old Buck Huck thread (may be a error within RCGroups.)

On thing interesting reading Ben's tip here on landing is as he says it, "DO NOT land on 3D rates". I used to always switch back to low rates but as I always set me expo so both rates feel about the same in the middle stick to 30-40% stick range and got lazy and just stayed in hight rates. Are you guys switching back to low? I will switch back today and try it out.

I land on high rates because if something weird should happen or the plane looses too much speed you might need it.

Been talking about this over on the 47" Extra SHP thread but this morning I tried several thing and the 1% down throttle to elevator mix was perfect. The SHP at the 3D CG position really wanted to have the nose up and just ran out of speed. The node down trim with the power down it now lands like a sport plane.

I take off and land on high rates as well. I pretty much only use low rates for precise stuff in the air. I also harrier land 90% of the time so the extra throw is needed.
